Who we are

J3ND3V PTY LTD (ACN 696 115 849) is an Australian software studio based in Canberra, ACT. This policy covers personal information you provide through j3nd3v.com. For questions or requests, email hi@j3nd3v.com.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• The budget range you select (optional)
• The project description you write
• Limited request metadata: country derived from your IP address (not the IP itself), a truncated user-agent string, and a UTC timestamp

We do not set tracking cookies. We do not run analytics on this site. We do not fingerprint, profile, or ad-target visitors.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries about software development services and to keep a private record of conversations we’ve had with prospective clients. That’s it.

Where it’s stored

Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, encrypted at rest. Cloudflare’s data centres operate across regions; routing is managed by Cloudflare. Cloudflare does not sell or share customer data with third parties for advertising.

Who else processes it

We use two third parties to deliver enquiry notifications to us:

• Resend — sends an email copy of the enquiry to our mailbox. Resend is a transactional email provider with a GDPR-aligned data processing agreement.
• Telegram— pushes a notification to a private J3ND3V channel so we see new enquiries promptly. The body of your message is transmitted to Telegram’s servers as part of that notification.

Both processors receive the contents of your submission. Neither receives more than what we ourselves store.

Retention

We keep enquiry records indefinitely by default so we can pick up the thread later. If you’d like your submission deleted, email hi@j3nd3v.comfrom the address you used and we’ll remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Confirm whether we hold any record of your enquiry
• Show you the record
• Correct anything that’s wrong
• Delete it

Send the request from the email address you originally submitted with, to hi@j3nd3v.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe (usually within a few business days).

What we deliberately don’t do

• No reCAPTCHA or third-party CAPTCHA on the form
• No analytics, fingerprinting, or behavioural tracking
• No advertising pixels or remarketing tags
• No third-party form processor (Typeform, HubSpot, etc.)
• No selling, renting, or sharing your information for marketing

Australian Privacy Principles

J3ND3V is committed to handling personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988(Cth). In particular, we aim to be open and transparent about our practices (APP 1), notify you of what we’re collecting and why (APP 5), give you access to your information (APP 12), and correct it on request (APP 13).
